 New Wiper Blades
I bought some new rubber blades for the wipers, but cant get the old ones off?
Got the wiper unit off no bother, but cant get the rubber to slide out, without damage to the unit?

 Re: New Wiper Blades
As a quick fix for your problem, just buy a couple of new wiper blade from your local motor factor . Then you will have more time to figure out how to replace the rubber on your original ones.
Possibly there are a couple of metal strips which are held in place by clips on either side and the rubber is held in place by cut outs on the metal strips. So you have to remove the metal strips first.

 Re: New Wiper Blades
Cheers for that, but I figured it out, the blades that were on were not the type for sliding the rubbers out of?
So I prized open the top grip, then nipped it closed, after fitting the new blade, works a treat now
Will have to buy the full thing next time though.
