Post 451 rear crash bar on 450 ?
Anyone know if a 451 steel rear crash bar will fit on a 450 ?

Thanks.

Why steel? Steel rusts. You are much better off with a crash bar made out of wood. I have one wooden crashbar for sale for 3 pounds plus P&P at cost. Another pound if you want it painted. Black or silver Lidls best engine enamel.

It was your experience of the alloy crash bar cracking then fitted with a towbar that made me wonder if the steel item might be better.
Steel - easy to reinforce.
Galv (I get it done for free) - no rust

To go with the wooden crashbar you must have this wooden 'block', it's been performance 'chipped' and re'board' and comes with a three 'branch' manifold. Last time it was run everyone 'sawdust'!!
I think an MOT tester might have something to say about a wooden crashbar!
