 Radio
My radio is always lit up even when swithched off and engine stopped keys removed. Unfortunately this also flattens battery. Any ideas which wire needs removing so i can use radio and also start car. Thanks keith

swap the red/yellow wires over or maybe it is wired direct to the battery?

Two things,
Are you sure that it stays on? There is a time delay of several minutes before the car shuts down in to standby mode where all it is looking for is the signal from the key.
How good is you battery? It should be able to run the radio light overnight without losing so much charge that you can't start the car!
There are switched live connections, the lighter socket for one - BUT - if you use that, you will have to put the code in EVERY TIME you want to use the radio and then reset all the frequencies that have radio stations on them.

John As the man said, if the radio displaying the clock all night is killing your battery then you have other bigger problems! I seem to remember that mine stayed powered up to some degree all the time (I changed it for a non Smart/Grundig unit). If the battery tests ok then check current draw with inductive amp meter when cars switched off. Cheers!
